January 17th 2009 Bike Ride Recap

The ride this weekend was great! A bit more challenging than originally expected, but still a lot of fun. It turned out to be about five and half miles total. Thank you all for coming and having an adventureous spirit!

Kudos to Aileen!! This was a very challenging ride, made even more difficult with a Hybrid bike, but she stuck with it, no complaining and lots of smiles!

Some Beautiful views of the valley and SOKA University!

A challenging start!

Pleasant ride along West Ridge Trail

Then we came to Rock-It...

a very pleasant little single track... why do they call it Rock-it?
Oooh! Rock-It!

Emergency surgery by Dr. Dave

Coyote Run was very pretty

Wood Canyon Trail was a easy way to finish

The rare and deadly Aliso Viejo Wolfhound!

Everyone was smiling and enjoying themselves in the end...which leads me to believe that this ride was obviously not hard enough. I'll be planning another ride soon and will make it more challenging! Thanks again for riding, see you all again soon!
